Add one 8 oz. block of KING KOKO SAMOA to 1 gallon of cold water in a pot. Bring liquid to a simmer, then cover for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Once the Koko disperses throughout the water, add two cups of brown sugar. When ready to serve, strain if desired. Unlike coffee, Koko Samoa reheats well the next day and tastes even better!
Makes two 7 oz. servings
2 cups cold water
4 tablespoons King Koko Samoa (finely grated)
4 tablespoons of brown sugar (or to your liking of sweetener)
Add the Koko Samoa and sugar to water and simmer for 10-15 minutes. Delicious!
